Mads Damlund on valmistunut Tanskan kuninkaallisesta musiikkikorkeakoulusta pääaineinaan urkujen- ja pianonsoitto. Hänen opettajiaan ovat olleet professori Hans Fagius, professori Bine Bryndorf, Lasse Ewerlöff ja Bohumila Jedlickova. Hän on myös opiskellut vuoden Lyonissa, Ranskassa, Conservatoire Nationale Superieure de Musiquessa. Hän teki urkudebyyttinsä vuonna 2006 konsertilla, jossa hän esitti mm. Buxtehuden, Ligetin ja Carl Nielsenin musiikkia ja mukana oli myös Tanskan kansallinen lapsikuoro. Damlund on esiintynyt solistina ja festivaaleilla Suomessa, Ranskassa, Italiassa, Saksassa, Ruotsissa ja Norjassa sekä televisio- ja radio-ohjelmissa. Hän on esittänyt Buxtehuden ja Bachin kaikki urkuteokset ja tehnyt useita levytyksiä, mukaan lukien Clavichord Music from the Danish Golden Age, jolla kuullaan Schulzin, Kunzenin ja Naumannin musiikkia. Hän on tehnyt tutkimustyötä klavikordista ja julkaissut artikkeleita Carl Nielsenin suhteesta klavikordiin. Damlund on toiminut urkurina Jægersborgin kirkossa ja Frederiksbergin seurakunnassa ja työskentelee nykyisin urkurina Brønshøjn kirkossa Kööpenhaminassa, missä hän järjestää Copenhagen International Clavichord Festivalia.

Anna Maria McElwain on opiskellut pianonsoittoa Turun konservatoriossa Elzbieta Guzekin johdolla sekä State University of New York at Buffalossa, Yhdysvalloissa, opettajanaan Stephen Manes. 21-vuotiaana hän oli suorittanut Master of Music -tutkinnon pianonsoitossa sekä Master of Arts -tutkinnon musiikinteoriassa. Teoriaopinnoissaan hän erikoistui masoreettisiin nuottimerkkeihin, joiden pohjalta hän on esittänyt ja nauhoittanut hepreankielistä Raamattua. Anna Maria on erikoistunut klavikordinsoittoon ja opiskellut sitä Pekka Vapaavuoren ohjauksessa. Hän suoritti joulukuussa 2009 klavikordinsoiton A-tutkinnon erinomaisin arvosanoin suorittaen tähän mennessä ainoan Sibelius-Akatemian musiikin maisterin tutkinnon klavikordinsoitossa. Anna Maria opetti Sibelius-Akatemian Kuopion osastolla vuoteen 2010 saakka ja keskittyy nykyään konserttitoimintaan lähinnä klavikordistina. Hän on konsertoinut Suomessa, Ruotsissa, Virossa, Tanskassa, Alankomaissa, Saksassa, Itävallassa, Unkarissa, Espanjassa, Italiassa ja Yhdysvalloissa. Anna Maria on saanut apurahoja mm. Taiteen edistämiskeskukselta sekä sen Pohjois-Savon rahastolta ja Pohjois-Savon kulttuurirahastolta. Anna Marialta on ilmestynyt kaksi levyä, joista ensimmäinen on äänitetty 1808 rakennetulla Lindholm-klavikordilla. Se on maailman ensimmäinen klavikordilla tehty Beethoven-äänite. Anna Maria on Nordic Historical Keyboard Festivalin perustaja ja taiteellinen johtaja (2012-2022) ja järjestänyt myös ensimmäisen kansainvälisen klavikordikilpailun (2014) ja kansainvälisen klavikordisävellyskilpailun (2018) sekä muita klavikordiin painottuvia konserttisarjoja. Maaliskuussa 2021 Anna Marialle myönnettiin ensimmäinen Early Music America Joan Benson Clavichord Award.

Eija Virtanen opiskeli klavikordinsoittoa Sibelius-Akatemian Kuopion osastolla opettajanaan Mikko Korhonen. Vuonna 1996 hän soitti Suomen ensimmäisen solistisen klavikordin C-tutkinnon ja vuonna 1998 solistisen B-tutkinnon, molemmat erinomaisin arvosanoin. Musiikin maisteriksi Eija Virtanen valmistui vuonna 1997 pääaineenaan urkujensoitto (A-tutkinto 1995). Aiemmin Virtanen valmistui Turun konservatoriosta urkujensoiton opettajaksi. Eija Virtanen on tehnyt klavikordia tunnetuksi vuodesta 1994 konsertoimalla eri puolilla Suomea. Hän on rakentanut kopion Anders Wåhlströmin vuoden 1752 klavikordista ja hankki HansErik Svenssonin rakentaman 5-oktaavisen sitomattomalla Specken-Svensson -klavikordin vuonna 2011. Virtanen on Nokian seurakunnan kanttori vuodesta 1997. Vuonna 2015 hän esiintyi Italiassa, Magnanon kansainvälisessä klavikordisymposiumissa. Hän on soittanut klavikordiduossa sekä Maritta Heliön että Anna Maria McElwainin kanssa. Virtasen klavikordin A-tutkinto vuonna 2018 oli kolmas laatuaan Sibelius-Akatemian historiassa ja hän valmisti sen Pekka Vapaavuoren ohjauksessa.

He has also studied one year at Conservatoire Nationale Supérieure de Musique, Lyon. He made his organ debut in 2006, with an organ recital including music by Buxtehude, Ligeti and Carl Nielsen, also featuring The Danish National Childrens Choir. He has performed as soloist and festivals in Finland, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden and Norway, and in TV and Radio broadcasts. He has performed concert series of Buxtehudes and Bachs complete organ works, and made numerous recordings, including “Clavichord Music from the Danish Golden Age”, featuring music of Schulz, Kunzen and Naumann. He has also done research on the clavichord, and published articles about Carl Nielsens relationship to the clavichord. He has been organist in Jægersborg Church and Frederiksberg Sogn, and is now organist in Brønshøj Church in Copenhagen, where he arranges the festival Copenhagen International Clavichord Festival.

Finnish-born Anna Maria McElwain studied at the Turku Consevatory with Elzbieta Guzek, and later at the State University of New York at Buffalo with Dr Stephen Manes. At the age of 21 she had already completed a Master of Music degree in piano performance and a Master of Arts degree in music theory. In her theoretical studies she specialized in the musical meaning of the Massoretic signs of the Hebrew Bible. In the last decade Anna Maria specialized in the clavichord studying it with Dr Pekka Vapaavuori. She is the first ever to complete a Master of Music degree in clavichord performance at Sibelius Academy. Anna Maria taught at the Sibelius Academy Kuopio department until 2010 and currently focuses on performing, mainly as a clavichordist. She has performed in the United States and in Europe (Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Italy, and Austria). She is the co-founder and artistic director of the Nordic Historical Keyboard Festival (2012–2022), the founder of the First International Clavichord Competition (2014) and the International Clavichord Composition Competition (2018). Anna Maria has explored the limits of the clavichord with later repertoire. She wrote a study on “The Clavichordist's View on the Chopin Preludes”, which compares the possibilities of the Swedish clavichords with German models. Anna Maria's solo recording "Hours Well Spent" on an 1808 Lindholm clavichord at Nydahl Collection in Stockholm came out in November 2013 (Robert Holmin Ljud&Bild), and is the first ever recording of Beethoven on the clavichord. Her second recording was released in May 2015 featuring music of Fux, Johnsen, Lithander, and Beethoven. Anna Maria has received grants from various foundations in Finland, as well as a Kuopio Stipend in November 2013 from the City of Kuopio for her artistic achievements. In 2021 she was honored with the First Early Music America Joan Benson Clavichord Award.

Eija Virtanen studied clavichord playing at the Sibelius Academy Kuopio department with Mikko Korhonen. In 1996 she did the first C-level exam in clavichord playing in Finland, and in 1998 a B-level exam, both with excellent marks. Eija Virtanen achieved her Master of Music degree in 1997 with organ playing as her main subject (A-level exam in organ in 1995). Eija Virtanen has promoted the clavichord since 1994 with recitals around Finland. She has built her own instrument, which is a copy of the Anders Wåhlström 1752 instrument. In 2011 she got an unfretted 5-octave Specken-Svensson clavichord built by HansErik Svensson. Virtanen is a member of the board of directors of the Finnish Clavichord Society, and a church musician in the Nokia church since 1997. In 2015 Virtanen participated with a recital at the International Clavichord Symposium at Magnano in Italy. Virtanen has played in duo with clavichordists Maritta Heliö and Anna Maria McElwain. Matti Puurtinen has composed clavichord repertoire which she has prermiered. Eija Virtanen's A-level exam in clavichord in 2018 was the third of its kind in the history of Sibelius Academy. It was prepared under the guidance of Pekka Vapaavuori.
